On Saturday 12th October, members of the Energy Park team took part in the RBC Race for the Kids fun run in Hyde Park to raise money for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
With over 9,000 participants, it was a fantastic day, full of energy and positivity. And we’re delighted to announce that so far the team has raised over £2,000!
GOSH has significant meaning to our business due to the amazing support their doctors and nurses gave our Non-Executive Director, Chris White, and his family when his daughter needed specialist ongoing medical care a number of years ago.
And we’re proud to be their EV partner, creating solutions that help to drive donations towards lifesaving research projects and support programmes for families and staff.
Gavin Malone, Energy Park Founder and COO, says: “I’m delighted with what the team has achieved. Our partnership with GOSH Charity it very important to us, and it was fantastic to be able to support their fundraising on Saturday.
“We’re always looking into ways we can drive donations via our EV charge points, so to take part in a GOSH event and see first-hand what a difference the charity makes to people’s lives was very special.”å
